our latest update

50 person gatherings

Beginning Sunday, October 4, we are going to be offering 50-person weekend services at Centennial Secondary at 9:30am and 11:30am along with our ongoing Online Services. We will be following physical distancing protocols throughout the building. We welcome you to worship with us in the environment that you are most comfortable. We are excited to be meeting in-person again and we invite you to view the details below to learn more about what to expect when you arrive.

R Kids in Person Plan

We will be providing R Kids services for ages 4-10 beginning Sunday, October 4th.If you feel more comfortable bringing your kids into the auditorium with you, we encourage you to bring a tablet or phone with headphones so your children can watch our online kids content during the service.

Here are some additional steps we are taking to keep our kids’ environments safe (and fun) for your family!

  • Drop-off and pick-up will be limited to one parent per household to reduce traffic in the kids’ areas.
  • Everyone entering the R Kids area will undergo a brief health screening, including temperature check, answering several health-related questions and hand sanitization, before proceeding to check-in.
  • Anyone with a 100.4 degree temperature or higher, or showing symptoms of sickness will be asked to worship with us online.
  • No outside toys, food or items are allowed inside the classroom.
  • Enhanced cleaning throughout all R Kids areas. All kids’ areas and toys will be disinfected between each service to ensure the safest environment possible for your family.
  • During this time, we will have reduced classroom capacities for each of our preschool and elementary classes.
  • All Dream Team members will wear masks during the entirety of their serve.
  • The babies room will not be offered at this time.

common questions

Are seating reservations required?

Yes. We will be operating within the 50-person limit of the province’s Phase 3 protocols. Registrations will begin online in September. Physical distanced seating will be available in the auditorium with assistance by our ushers.

What sanitation measures will be in place?

Our team will frequently disinfect surfaces throughout the building and we will sanitize the auditoriums between services. Hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building. Water fountains and our café will not be available at this time. All seat materials including papers and pens will be removed.

What about face coverings?

We will provide 2 separate seating zones:
Green Zone - where masks will be required at all times
Blue Zone - where masks will be required during worship and optional during the message while social distancing. Zones will be clearly identified for each row of seating.

Face coverings will be made available for you as you walk in the door and required any time you are moving in or out of the building.
In order to help facilitate a safe environment to worship, our staff and Dream Team will be wearing face coverings as they serve.

what if i am considered "high risk"?

If you or someone in your family is considered “high-risk” for severe illness, we encourage you to continue worshipping with us online.

Will the cafe be open?

What if i don't feel comfortable coming in person yet?

Prayer is our first response, not our last resort. We’re comforted and empowered knowing we serve a miracle-working God who is an ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes and show you how to pray for those on the front lines, at high risk, and in great need. We’d love to pray for you and your needs. Click the link below to ask for prayer and our prayer team will pray for you specifically throughout the week.

receive help

If you have needs related to the coronavirus, we’re here to help! Let us know how we can serve you, and our team will be in touch soon.

serve + give

If you’re in a position to be able to serve, you can sign up to join one of our Serve small groups this fall. Each group is mobilizing to partner with local food banks, schools, and organizations to maximize the efforts to serve the people in our communities. Because of your generosity, we’re able to operate our finances in a way that allows us to give in times of need and crisis. That’s exactly what we’re doing now and will continue to do. If you feel led to financially be a part of our COVID-19 outreach efforts, you may give here.

food distribution program

Every week we pack hampers full of food which get distributed on Friday afternoons to families in our city who desperately need it. Through your generosity, we are able to love and serve some of the most vulnerable kids and families in our city.
