Do you know what the word wisdom means?
Wisdom is choosing God’s way instead of your own. Everyone needs wisdom from God, no matter how smart they are and if they ask God to give them wisdom, He will!
God will give wisdom to anyone who asks Him for it.

Find a comfy place in your home to gather together as a family. Grab some snacks, grab your Bible, and get ready to make a moment of it!
Now, start off by having each person take a turn discussing the following prompt:
What would you do if you saw a dog vomit?
Let’s get into a time of worship! Take a moment to stand/ stretch and then go ahead and play some worship music in your home. Have fun with it! Raise your hands, jump, close your eyes – engage in the worship moment as a family. It is special.
Now it’s time to jump into our lesson from Konnect HQ.
Today’s lesson is on “Learning From Your Mistakes"
First, get comfy, grab a Bible, and click on our lesson video below.
Then, after a quick stretch break (or run really fast on the spot), come back together to talk about this story and what it means to YOU!
When is making a mistake a good thing? When you learn from it and try not to make it again.
Think about the Bible story. When Peter made a huge mistake, what did he learn? If you make a mistake, Jesus still loves you,and He still has good plans for you.
What can you do this week when you make a mistake? Learn from it, ask God to help me make a better choice next time, etc.
Time to get God’s Word deep into our hearts.
Proverbs 26:11 NLT
"As a dog returns to its vomit, so a fool repeats his foolishness."
You did it! You just took a deep dive into God’s Word – together! Let’s take time now to talk to God.
Ask your child to share things they’d like to pray about.
Write down their prayer requests and then pray together over each request.
thank You for forgiving us when we choose to follow Jesus. Please help us learn from our mistakes.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
